Hatch is my heart dog.
To be honest, if I could reasonably clone him over and over again, I’d quit breeding entirely.
In addition to his lovely, balanced structure and his smooth, powerful movement with great reach and drive, Hatch’s temperament is unparalleled among any of the dogs I’ve owned.
He bonded to me very young while still in the whelping pen. As he grew, he showed aptitude for service work, sensing when I was upset or panicky, disrupting and distracting me back to him by jumping up on me. I’ve never been a great traveler, as I’ve had poor past experiences on planes while flying for work… So, I decided to take his aptitude and channel it toward service work in helping me remain calm on the plane through disruption and deep pressure therapy. I remember being shocked and crying the first time he tasked on a plane during take off. He’s truly been a blessing in our home!
He will be selectively shown in the Specials ring at Boxer Specialties, but his primary focus is his first job as a Service Dog here with me.
