Minnie is the spitting image of her amazing grandfather Trucker, who brought me back into our breed after straying to raise my human children.
As her owners, Kat, Rich and their lovely daughters mourned Trucker’s passing, our Luna x Darrell litter was born into this world. Among them was a flashy little brindle girl—a spitting image of their best boy. I was thrilled when Kat—my close friend and co-breeder decided that she was to come and live in their home. And so she went, bouncing into their house destroying bushes, sitting on chairs and couches reserved for old dogs, generally not a care in the world. (Or rather, she came with zero *&$@’s given). She slowly mended their hearts, made them laugh and stepped into his pawprints like she was meant to be there—as only a Boxer can.
She did Kat and I proud by finishing her AKC Championship, going WB, BOW for the 5pt Major under Breeder-judge Bill Anderson at the Boxer Club of Southern California—as with all of her points, expertly handled by Sonda Peterson.
Kat is a firm believer of versatile working dogs who can do anything, so I’m super excited to see where their next adventure takes them!
